Who we are

Baja Expedition is a small, local crew running guided snorkeling, whale trips, coastal cruises, and expert spearfishing out of La Paz. We're not a call-centre reseller or a cruise-day concession — every trip is run by the same people who own the boats.

That matters when you’re travelling. When you message us, you reach a guide, not a queue. When something changes with the weather, a real person makes the call and looks after you.

We operate by the rules that protect this place

The Sea of Cortez is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and much of where we go is protected. We run inside those protections — under permit, at legal distances, with strict no-touch and no-feed rules around wildlife.

It’s better for the animals, and it’s better for you: a relaxed whale or a curious sea lion gives you an encounter no crowded boat ever will.
