Most days we&#8217;re at the launch by 7am, gear loaded and briefed, and on the water shortly after. From Puerto Los Cabos marina in San Jos\u00e9 del Cabo the run north takes anywhere from twenty minutes to an hour depending on how far up the coast the conditions \u2014 and your chosen activity \u2014 pull us.<\/p><p>A typical half-day means two or three stops: a reef to snorkel, a point to fish or dive, a cove to swim and eat. Full days push further, often into the Cabo Pulmo corridor, with a beach break in the middle. We&#8217;re usually back at the dock by early afternoon, before the wind gets up.<\/p><p>Here&#8217;s the honest version: on the East Cape, the wind decides the itinerary. Some mornings the plan to run north gets rewritten into a sheltered inshore day the moment we clear the point \u2014 and that&#8217;s the right call, not a disappointment. The Camino Cabo Este is paved in stretches and graded dirt in others; a regular car makes it in dry conditions, though the last approaches favour higher clearance. Most Vinorama guests meet us at the launch, but we&#8217;ll collect from a home here by arrangement.
